Key Tech Labs is a 501(c)3 nonprofit mobile makerspace, whose mission is to bring emerging technology to underrepresented areas, to help create self-sustainable communities.  We do this by teaching communities how to repair, repurpose and upgrade themselves. Through our self-sustainable learning systems, we integrate peer-to-peer mentoring with project-based learning. Students learn how to program by assessing everyday problems, drafting a solution and prototyping to solve issues themselves, and finally, share their solutions with the world.  Key Tech Labs seek to create a direct pipeline for talented, diverse, and underrepresented IT entrepreneurs to fully engage in the workforce of the Digital Era.
